This Week: Oct. 4, 2007- Norma Henderson, Rotary Thank You 50 Years Later.  Partners and guests welcomed for this special evening event in the life of the Club and the District.  SVCC, 6:30 p.m. Social Time; 7:00 p.m. Dinner.

Sept. 27, 2007 – Thirty members, including the speaker and new members Leo Mendonca and Mark Johnson, were present for this meeting that was called to order at 12:05 p.m. and ended at 1:00 p.m. Mike Flock, on behalf of both the SAYF and the Central Susquehanna Community Foundation, described the SAYF and the affiliate connection with the CSCF and then introduced Eric Dewald, Central Susquehanna Community Foundation CEO.  Eric was originally hired to be the CEO of the Berwick Health and Wellness Foundation which started as a result of the sale of the Berwick Hospital.  That fund is now part of the CSCF, along with 40 others, plus two affiliates, and provides professional management for approximately $38 million in total. The new flyer about the SAYF (started with $10,000 from the Club and now valued at about $400,000) was circulated as well as the Annual Report of the CSCF. A community foundation provides an excellent way for all to become philanthropists.
