This Week: Sept. 13, 2007- Coach’s Night, hosted by Fred Johnson. Sept. 6, 2007 – Thirty members and guests were present and heard Todd Snyder, Sunbury Rotarian and President of T Snyder Consulting, describe the Selinsgrove WiFi project. This wireless network development initiative will be available in downtown Selinsgrove by early October and will provide free access to portals such as the Borough, the school district, Snyder County Libraries, and the Daily Item. Paid access through In Tune Wireless Internet will be available through this project.  More information can be obtained from Todd Snyder (www.tsnyderconsulting.com).  John Bickhart, with the assistance of sponsor John Fischer inducted Mark Johnson and Leo Mendonca into the Selinsgrove Club. Mark is owner and CEO of ASP Services, inc. and Leo is the co-owner of the Potteiger House Bed and Breakfast and a professional photographer of note. A second visiting Rotarian from the Sunbury Club, Charlie Aumond was also present.

Announcements: *Please call John Fischer if you are available to help at the 9/17 Golf tournament. Helpers are needed as hole watchers and to register players. Prizes for players should be given to Bob Soper.**Sept. 22 is the date for the Market Street Festival. Sign-up sheet for times to work is being circulated, as is a sign up sheet to provide baked goods for sale.***June 15 is the date for the RI Convention in LA.

Sergeant-at-arms: Marv Rudnitsky collected fines as follows: Happy Birthday fines from Hal Schriver, Tom Gates, and John Fischer; from Mike Flock (canoeing on the Susquehanna from the new boat launch and seeing a bald eagle); John Stokinger (camping with sleeping grandchildren); Tom Gates (lots of birthday golf); Konrad Kempfe (Outer Banks vacation and birthday); Mary Peterhaensel (daughter relocating to this area and the Renaissance Fair); Art Bowen (awarding “I got mine” stick to John Fischer); Mike Hayes (car adventure with Tom Gates and Tom’s improving pace for the marathon); Marv Rudnitsky (last time for free tickets to the US Tennis Open); and Fred Johnson, Bob Fogle, and Marv (for Earl in his absence).
