March 3, 2011: 26 members and were present to hear Otto Wolke of Danville speak about his life long hobby of collecting stamps.  Wolke is a pharmacist by training and has held many different jobs over the years.  But, he has also been a stamp collector since the age of eight.  He explained the various types of stamp collecting and talked about how things have changed over the years.  While most stamp collecting is about an interest in a topic or the artwork, at times there may be investment opportunities.  But mostly, it’s a hobby that provides many hours of enjoyment.

Announcements:  June 11 is the Chicken Barbeque.  March 17th is daffodil delivery day. The Susquehanna Valley Chorale and Buffalo Valley Singers are both performing in the next few weeks.  April 14th is the Distinguished Service Award dinner. March 12th is Casino Night for the Milton Rotary Club.
