and directors are urged to be present for this important event. Outgoing
President Donna, will offer some reflections on her year and incoming President
Wes Knapp will have the opportunity to share his plans for the Club. SVCC,

June 20, 2013: Twenty-two Rotarians were present as speaker Jessica Grill,
owner/operator and creator of Pompeii Street Soap Company, described her work
and products. Currently they make over 100 different products and she has five
employees. Pat Pinkowski was the host. In addition to sharing samples and
aromas from essential oils, Jessica gave an informative, inspirational, and
energetic talk. In business for 12 years, this wife, mother and entrepreneur answered
numerous questions from members. Check out her several websites and the shop in
Mifflinburg.Dottie Anderson with help
from his sponsor, Donna Schuck, installed Gaston Carroll to membership in the
Club. Gaston, employed at Shaffer Insurance, looks forward to becoming an
active member (and a new father).

July 9 – volunteers are still needed to assist at the event. Contact Earl

& Sun at Penn Valley); Sherri Hoffman (playing in the golf marathon with
Toby, changing heating element in water heater and “killing” a mouse); Dave
Lawver (wisdom from Earl, daughter’s wedding, Father’s Day in Florida); Charlie
McCuen (successful 2nd year golf marathon Library fund raiserwith about $9000 raised); Joyce Anderson (speaker);
Donna Schuck (Gaston and expected baby boy); Mike Flock (speaker at Leadership
Susquehanna Valley graduation tonight); Mary Peterhaensel (with grandkids for
birthdays); Toby Skinner (playing golf with Sherri after 20 some years and
getting out of the way, and the return of the “wild” goat ); Jerry Rhoads (back
and no broken bones); Nelson Bailey (Harvard reunion and good health); Bill
Clark (sewer line fix at home); and Earl Ferster (++15 and knowing which
Rotarian to call if the water heater needs repair).
