Rotarians were in attendance to here Joe Scartelli, former head of the Selinsgrove Center tell about his career and the
interesting journey it has been.A
graduate of the University of Scranton and Fordham University,
he pursued a degree as a psychiatric social worker and eventually he came to
Selinsgrove at the age of 35 as the head of the center.He spent the next 25 years overseeing the
operations of the center and was primarily responsible for changing the approaches
to providing care.He had always felt
his career was his calling, as was a pursuit of attaining his training as a
deacon in the Catholic church.Now
retired, he continues to volunteer time in the community and in his church.

festival on 9/28/13.Please call John at
837-1135 and leave a message if you can help.Full buckets of ice cream can be purchased to support the event for
about $35.This year – full
pies only- and all pies will be sold
whole – no slices

reminded members that if you are assigned a date for the program and cannot do
it, it is your responsibility to find another member to take it for you. Wes
Knapp was approached by a coach from the Selinsgrove LL that Rotary Field may
need some work in the future.
