Honoring Our Vetrans

The Selinsgrove Rotary Club recently recognized Veterans Day by hosting Robert Rachau, VFW Commander of Post 6631 in Selinsgrove. Rachau told the Rotarians that the VFW has 1.6 million members nationwide. The VFW was responsible for the GI Bill, the Veterans Adminsitration and the many national cemeteries. On a local level they support many community organizations each year. The VFW building is located on Rt 522 just west of Selisngrove.
