 Oct. 8, 2015: 18 Rotarians and guests were present were present to hear the presentation from Harold Malehorn Wildlife Conservation Officer for the Commonwealth of PA. Mr. Malehorn serves Snyder County and parts of Juniata County. The group was informed of this type of officer’s duties, such as: Game & Wildlife Code enforcement, Fishing & Boating Law enforcement and Environmental Code enforcement. These types of officers may work anywhere throughout the state, especially enforcing laws and codes within State Parks and Forests. They are also researchers and track wildlife. They can also assist resolving issues with nuisance wildlife.

Announcements: Dr. Michael Hayes attended our lunch meeting to give a short presentation of the 2015 summer program of Summer SEALS. This coming year, 2016, will be the 10th anniversary of the Summer SEALS and a celebration is being planned.

Konrad has been in touch with our out-bound exchange student, Catherine Lucchi, and she is enjoying her time in Taiwan.

Nov. 5 – Annual Meeting, Election of 2016-17 Officers and Directors; Exchange Student Fanny will be our speaker. SVCC, 11:45 am. This meeting preceded by Board of Directors Meeting at 11 a.m.
