Members of the Selinsgrove High School Forensics Club participated in the Selinsgrove Rotary Club’s annual speech contest. Participants were tasked with using a real life example to apply Rotary’s Four-Way Test of things Rotarians think, say and do. First, is it the truth? Second, is it fair to all concerned? Third, will it build good will and better friendships and fourth, will it be beneficial to all concerned? Picture above (L to R) are Catherine Lucchi, third place, Emily Spiegel, second place, Hannah Domaracki, first place and Brittany Bunting-Specht, forensics coach.

Mike Crowley, Park Manager of the R B Winter State Park was a guest speaker at the Selinsgrove Rotary Club. Also known locally as Halfway Dam, the park offers a wide array of outdoor activities including camping, swimming, hiking and picnicking. Within the park boundaries is a 6.3 mile hiking trail and 60 campsites. The park was built in the 1930’s by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) and today boasts great facilities and programs that run throughout the year.
