June 14, 2018: Twenty-two Rotarians were present as Drew Kelly, Director of Sales, Communications and Marketing for the Miller Center in Lewisburg, spoke about the center and its programs. Tom Gates was the host, and John Fischer introduced the speaker. Many of us know Drew from his time at WKOK and the Drew and Allie show. Three daughters round out the Drew and Allie family.  The Miller Center is a 96 Thousand Square Foot facility that had originally be the warehouse for Pennsylvania House Furniture.  The Miller’s desire was to create “The Third Place” where all ages could live, play, network and enjoy fitness and recreational activities. Currently there are 280 different fitness classes, with 1300 members of the fitness center and about 2000 sport and recreation members. There are a variety of membership plans for the center, and open just about 1 year, the variety of activities and events being hosted continues to expand.  For example, the Evangelical Kids Health Fair will occur in a portion of the facility this year.  It is clear that the center is a welcome addition to the area.
