June 27, 2019 – Twenty- one Rotarians and guest Jim Handlan, were present for the Installation of the 2019-20 Officers and Directors. Cheryl Stumpf reflected on her year as President and expressed her gratitude for so much of what makes up the Selinsgrove Club. Dottie Anderson conducted the Installation of Officers: Carol Handlan, President; Cheryl Stumpf, Past President; Doug Wilburn, President Elect; Dan Mahoney, Vice President; Hal Dunkelberger, Secretary; Sarah Maneval, Treasurer; and Directors of Service Areas: Art Bowen, Club; Jared Roush, Vocational; Toby Skinner, International; Pat Pinkowski, Community; and Marv Rudnitsky, Youth. Carol briefly described her goals for the year and presented Cheryl with the past president pin before adjourning the meeting.
Announcements: The flag display will go up again for Veterans Day, do be in touch with Dave Lawer if you have additional veterans you would want to honor in this way. Dave also circulated a couple of thank you notes from two scholarship recipients’.*Swan Stull’s induction as new DG was June 23 at Whispering Oaks. This was followed with some surgery, and a get well card was circulated;** Hotdog night at the Gazebo is July 30 – Melissa is looking for volunteers to help and a signup sheet was circulated.***Thank you to those who have read the draft calendar AND already identified a speaker for the date they have host responsibilities! PLEASE review if you have not already done so and communicate to Art Bowen or Dottie Anderson if the date you are scheduled doesn’t work.****Golf Tournament Committee is looking for sponsors and players for 9/9 event.****Marv announced that Tomas, our new exchange student will arrive in Aug. He is looking for two additional host families.

Future Programs: July 18 – Lunch with the Sumer SEALS Day Camp campers and staff at the Intermediate School, 18th Street, Selinsgrove. An opportunity to meet campers and to hear from the staff about this year’s program. Dottie Anderson is the host.
