July 18, 2019 – Rotarians, guests of Rotarians (Mary Peterhaensel’s sons, John Reed’s wife and granddaughters), Board Members, Donna Ross, Adm. Coordinator, Camp Staff and Foster Grandparents were present at the Intermediate School for lunch with the 2019 Summer SEALS Day Campers. Co-directors Mary Herman and Cameron Trego introduced the staff and they, in turn, described this year’s three units – rainforest, Alaska, and Oceans. We welcomed Linette, new dietitian working with the camp for the summer. Dottie Anderson, program host and Board Secretary, introduced fellow Board Members who were present: Marty Blessing, Toby Skinner, Mike Damiano, Dave McLaughlin. Cameron and Mary have decided not to continue as Directors next year, and the Board has selected former SSDC teachers Kelsey Kline and McKenzie Sweet as the new co-directors. On behalf of Mike Piecuch, Board Chair, and the Board, Dottie presented Cameron and Mary with a token of our appreciation for their service. The annual car wash followed.
