August 1, 2019 – Twenty-five Rotarians (including the Benner’s from the West Snyder Club) and guest (Ken Miller’s great grandson, Braxton) were present as new member Gerald Stauffer presented his classification/vocational talk. Born in Maryland, moving with his family to Snyder County when he was 16, Gerald has twin 11 year-old daughters, and is an entrepreneur who has developed extensive Real Estate experience. He and his partner have owned and operated a large pig farm, now sold, and build, run, and sold storage units. He also has had several very interesting mission trip experiences in Uganda, Guatemala, and the Dominican Republic where he sponsors children through Children International. He and his daughters have had a recent trip there. Next ventures still being developed, Gerald is proud to have become a Rotarian and is enjoying becoming acquainted with everyone. A board meeting preceded.
