Dec. 19, 2019 – Twenty-six Rotarians and guests (Bill Pinkowski, Barbara Gonsar, Sharon McCuen, Barb Reed) were present for our annual Holiday Party. Art Bowen was the host, and Don Messimer provided great piano background music and led us all in a sing along of Christmas music, both secular and religious. Poinsettia table decorations were disbursed and taken to folks we wanted to remember with holiday cheer.  We presented waitress Susan with a thankyou card and money gift. Pat Pinkowski shared her joy in working with the REC to identify our Christmas family and shopping with the single mother of three girls to get exactly what was wanted – wrapping paper, ribbon, etc. was provided to the mother who wanted to wrap up the presents for her children.  Enough Weis Market gift cards were provided that we were able to share those with a second family in need.  The Tree Fest ends tomorrow, and many thanks are extended to Sarah Maneval and family for decorating a tree based on Pokey the Puppy.
