Next Meeting – July 8 – Brian Neitz, host. Speaker TBA

JUNE 24, 2021: 20 fellow Rotarians and 1 guest (Sarah Kowalski, Rotary District Director) joined us at Isabella’s. Past President, Carol Handlan, welcomed everyone and then opened with the pledge, four-way test, prayer followed. Carol recognized our guest and then introduced our program host,  Dottie Anderson who proceeded with the installation of the new officers and directors for 2021-2022. They were officers: Bob Bertram, President; Stacey Napoli, Vice President; Hal Dunkelberger, Secretary; Sarah Maneval, Treasurer. Directors: Art Bowen, Service Area; Marty Blessing, Vocational; Toby Skinner, International; Pat Pinkowski, Community; and Marv Rudnitsky, Youth.  At the time of this installation, we did not have a Past President due to Dan’s resignation or a President-Elect. In Dottie’s comments she shared the history and the importance of the responsibility these positions carry; in addition to the role and attention, we as club members, need to pay attention to.  Once installed, Bob Bertram, addressed the members of his excitement of assuming the role of President and his outlook on this next year.

Important Note:  Since our last meeting, Carol Handlan has agreed to continue in the role as Past President for 2021-2022 and Jared Roush has agreed to step into the role as President-Elect for 2021-2022.  These two individuals will need to have approval to move into these roles. 

Announcements:  1) Unfortunately, Dan was unable to attend his last meeting as President, however, a number of members shared messages of gratitude for his past year of service as our President during collection of Happy Fines. 2) Reminder that there is no Rotary meeting on July 1st due to the 4th of July holiday. 3) Carol reminded members of the 1st Annual Rotary Yard Sale on Saturday, June 26th from 9:00am to 2:00pm on Rotary Field.
