A major activity is the Ambassadorial Scholar Program for college graduates. The Foundation is supported solely by voluntary contributions from Rotarians and friends of the Foundation who share its vision of service to humanity. The Rotary Foundation was started in 1917 and has received contributions of more than $1 billion dollars to date.
