June 11, 2009 – Forty seven Rotarians, partners, children and grand children enjoyed the Family Picnic, despite the rain. Games to play were provided by the Hayes family. Joyce Anderson is thanked for making all the arrangements with the Club for this special event. The buffet meal included hotdogs, hamburgers, and barbequed chicken, green salad, chips, ice tea and cookies. With Charles and Andrew Hayes ringing the bell, Joyce presented Bob Fogle with his 29th year of membership anniversary candy bar
Announcements: Mike Damiano reminds us it is EREY time before the end of June – we are at $3550 so far.*Thanks to the hard work of Bob Fogle, his sons and grandsons, and Earl Ferster, all 1000 halves of chicken were sold last Saturday. Congrats and we look forward to hearing the fund raising results. **Rotary is scheduled for Hot Dog Night at the Gazebo Tuesday July 21st at 7:30 p.m. Entertainment that evening is Gift/Troutman/Gift. Helpers will be needed.
