July 2, 2009 – Twenty-eight Rotarians and a guest (Mike Hayes’ son Charlie) were present to hear Jeff Edmunds take the Presidential oath and present his goals and plans for the ’09-10 Rotary year. The oath was administered by Dottie Anderson. Jeff and his family have made a commitment to this as a family “service year” and he seeks to maintain the service commitments of the Club and its members. New member Michael Piecuch (pronounced P at zu) provided a classification talk. Mike and his family moved many times as his father was a member of the Air Force before finally settling in Selinsgrove with his wife and three children (8, 3 & 1). An executive for the Pennsylvania District Attorney’s Association, this Franklin and Marshall graduate was previously employed in the PA House of Representatives. Rotarians actively asked questions and both discussed and asked questions about issues of statutes and laws within the state.
